Why not come meet people with similar interests and train for a race or two if that is your goal? We are a fun social group of runners, so come out and meetup with us. We strive to promote running and fitness in the community. Our goal is to make this an active group and not just another list of people. We are currently looking for assistant organizers on the …

We are the oldest continuously running hash in the United States. We meet Saturdays at 3:00pm, socialize a bit, and then go running/walking along a trail set by a member (the hare). Our trails wind through the wilds of the beautiful Hampton Roads Peninsula (Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg, York County), involve at least 1 beer check (for those 21 and older), and end with a festive, baudy and welcoming gathering (the circle). It's a fun way to get in a bit of exercise with your socializing. …

I have been trying to find a playgroup for me and my children and so far they have either been so small that we never do anything, so big that you are just a nameless faceless member, or they are run by one person and no one else has any say in how things operate. It is frustrating. My hope for this group is that it will be a haven for moms and a fun place for the kids to run free and make friends. We welcome women from Chesapeake, VA Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Hampton, and other surrounding ar …
