The club members are of varying running abilities and ages. Many run ultramarathons, but some don't run at all. The VHTRC holds a monthly training run -- we call it the "PB&J run" because we love post-run snacks as much as we love the runs themselves. (Participant …

Nothing like knowing others are waiting for you to make sure you go out and run! We are not competitive, regardless of pace (we have some very fast runners in the group, and very slow runners, and even if you can't run the whole thing, and need a walk break, it's ok). We always welcome new faces! Our weekday runs are always by time, not distance, so that we can …

The concept is simple, we go on a run and end at a bar. We cater to all fitness levels, no one needs to be an ironman/woman. We'll go on a run, around 4 miles give or take, and meet at a different bar each time. It's a great way to get out and experience the best of DC and meet some good people. If you enjoy being fit while having a good time and like to socialize with new people stop by for a meetup.

We are excited to meet with other local active, and not so active, dog owners who are interested in running (or walking) with their dog for general fitness or to lose a couple extra pounds (both you and your dog). Runners and walkers are welcome. The goal of the group is too share dog friendly races in the area and to provide a forum so that dog owners can meet and train together.

Go on runs, do stretching routines, do cross fit type workouts, and open to do anything that anyone wants to try!! Everyone should join. Runners, Lifters, anyone looking to get tips on fitness and nutrition!
