The Basel Dragons Running Club Our club meets every Monday and Thursday evening at 18.30 under the Wettsteinbruecke (Muenster side) at the Basel Dragons club house. We also organise weekly Saturday morning runs (approx. 20km) in the Basel area, meeting points vary. A social group, the Hash House Harriers are international but mainly English-speaking. We run or walk following a trail set by one of the group (the "hare"). It is like the "hares & hounds" or a paper chase. Drinking beer is a frequent occurance though not a must. This is a hiking, biking and general outdoor adventure group! Based out of Lausanne but members stretch from Geneva to Fribourg, Bern, and even Zurich. The Lausanne Lakers are a touch team based in Lausanne, Switzerland. Touch is a minimal contact sport, played on a pitch half the size of a rugby field (ie 50m x 70m). The game emphasises running, agility, passing, catching and communication. There is no tackling, lineouts, scrumming or kicking involved.
