Hey there, my name is Sean, I live in Kingswood and I like to run. Years ago I even ran the Ottawa half-marathon (in 2:13 in case you are curious). Problem is I am about 30lbs overweight these days an a little slower than I used to be (today's 5k averaged 7:24/km while PBs are 28:14 and 56:48 for 5k and 10k respectively). I also don't feel like driving into Bedford a few times a week to run with the Running Room gang (no slight intended, I love the RR clinics!). So I plan to run regularly thro …

Running (outdoors) and weights (GoodLife downtown) throughout the week, five times a week M/T/W/T/Sat, getting in shape for the Toronto (or any) Tough Mudder on August 18th. Anyone is welcome to join!
If you like to stroll, walk, hike or run come on in and join others just like you. It could be with a baby stroller in Point Plesant Park, dog walk in Shubie, hike out at Crowbar Lake, skate on the Frog Pond, snowshoe around Pockwock, or prepare for the annual Ironman. Everything to do with the Outdoors. Hiking, Mountain Biking, Camping, Swimming, Surfing, Beach Volleyball and we have done lots of social events like Scavenger hunt, Quiz nights. What to expect: Every trip will be different, usually with one (or two) theme's in priority (eg. cycle, kayaking). 1 day, 2 day trips. I will likely keep the groups between 8 - 16 people. … We have physical space for upwards of 20 players or so, and usually 6 to 14 people attend any given meetup, running 2 or 3 tables per night. Check out the calendar section to find out when and where the next meetup is taking place! Hope to see you there, We also support various other gaming organizations in the city such as Let it Roll, HalCon, Gelatinous Dudes and others.
