Details
This will be the inaugural meeting to help brainstorm ideas on how to make this the best running group around. Discussions to include, but not limited to:
- # of times/wk and days to run
- T-shirt & Logo & Slogan development (e.g., "we take cool down to a new level")
- Website development (I own www.willrun4beer.com!)
- Meetup site development - topics/discussions to post
- Possible races to enter as a group
- Weekly running route ideas
- Policies & Group Rules if deemed necessary
- And, anything else we can come up with
My hope is that people embrace the group and everyone works to make this a great meetup group. Running and drinking beer are fun activities - so lets get creative people! We will not head out running for this first meetup - lets get to know one another first and talk about how we want to move forward.
If you don't want to be a part of this first meeting and just want to run once everything is set up, stay tuned - I'm hoping we'll have our first run later this week or the following week. If you have any fun ideas or just some general questions between now and this meeting, zip me an email.
