River Rats Running Group of Sacramento
|
WELCOME to Sacramento's newest running group! We are all about Running for the LOVE of it, and encourage runners of all abilities and endurance levels AND all wannabee runners to join us for CASUAL Runs and SOCIAL Racing. Meet with other runners who run at your pace and share in the fun! Our runs will be mostly trail runs of varying lengths and mostly along the American River Parkway, as well as Lakes Natoma and Folsom. We will also have regular track workouts for those who want to improve their running. If you're looking for that competitive edge, we will be participating in various 5k and 10k races around Norcal and run as RELAY teams in longer races. Are you ready to have FUN running!?... whether you're training for your next ultra-marathon or your first 5k, we are all about running and having fun doing it! Most runs, other than track workouts, are dog-friendly!
