5K's for Fun, Baltimore Area

Come walk/jog with us. 5K's can be a great fun and a motivation to get up and be healthy on the weekend. Walking a 5K (about 3 miles) is the most fun with good companions. I am a brisk social walker, and like a little friendly competition. Briskly walking one mile burns nearly as many calories as running a mile at a moderate pace and confers similar fitness and health benefits. This group is for walkers, marchers, strollers, amblers and joggers all. All you need is a good pair of sneakers. Registration for each 5K is done on an individual basis and I will post all links. We will meet-up at the event.
