Hope everyone is ready for the Fall/Winter running season! This run will meet in Ukranian Village/Humboldt Park neighborhood near the northwest corner of Western Ave and Chicago Ave. Click on the link for the Google Maps location.

Don't worry about the pace, we are very accomodating. The distance will depend on what the group feels like running. We can always circle back to the start and drop off runners if you want to run a shorter distance. Remember this is a fun run so all running levels are welcomed. The Venue

Happy Halloween!!!! This ghoulish race will start from the Frankenstein Community Ball Park in Frankenstein, MO. That's right, Frankenstein...

From St.Louis, take Highway 44 west to the Jefferson City Exit. Go west on Highway 50 to Highway 100 North, in the town of Linn. Go 5 miles to Highway C. Take Highway C to the Frankenstein Community Ball Park.

From Jefferson City, take Highway 50 East to the town of Linn, go left on Highway 100 North. Turn left on Highway C to the Frankenstein Community Ball Park. The ballpark is on the right.

The Course

This is a hilly 100% pavement loop course. It goes through the towns of Frankenstein, Bonnots Mill and Linn. There is an out and back for the 50K.

Marathon Course Map
2009 Frankenstein Marathon and Spirit of the Osage 50K

The race will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2009. Start time is 8:00 am for both races, with a limit of 9 hours.

The fee is $45 for the Marathon, and $50 for the 50K, if received by September 15th, 2009. Thereafter add $10 for each. All entrants will receive a confirmation via email. No refunds. No race day entries. Race limited to 200 runners. Must be at least 18 years of age on race day to enter.

Packet pickup: Will be on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Settle Inn, Linn, MO. Also, on Sunday at the Frankenstein Community Ball Park from 6:30 am until 7:45 am.

Awards: Belt buckles for the 50K finishers. Finisher medals for the marathon finishers. Overall and age group awards.

Aid Stations: Aid stations will be approximately every 4 miles. Runners will be provided with water and sports drink.

Registration is available via Active.com beginning January 3, 2009.
