The Chicago Running Meetup Group

This is the place for experienced and beginner runners to get together with one another in the city, to run, keep fit, and make new friends. Our goal is to meet up at races and organize periodic running groups in different parts of the city to keep running social and fun, with occasional social events (i.e.-meeting up at a restaurant or bar after a race or group run). Comfortable running shoes are important anytime of year. In the cooler months, remember to wear layers to stay warm (so you can take them off if you get too warm). A wind-resistant jacket, hat or headband to cover your ears, and comfortable gloves go a long way to making those winter runs more enjoyable... not to mention some other people to run with! We hope you can join us at one of our events soon...
